Mr. L M Thapar has announced his retirement as Chairman of BILT.
He will take on the role of Chairman Emeritus. Mr. Gautam Thapar
has been appointed as Chairman by the Board. Both changes will be
effective July 1, 2006".
The company's results in the current quarter have
been positive as a result of its performance and firm market conditions.
We expect our initiatives in this direction to yield further results
in the coming future".
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. L M Thapar said,"
I am proud that BILT has attained its leadership position in my
lifetime. I am sure that Gautam will continue to lead it to becoming
a powerhouse in the Asian region very soon. |
