BILT believes in synergising business interests with environmental accountability. All manufacturing units follow stringent environment management systems and are moving towards ISO 14001 certification. Furthering its drive towards protecting the environment and reducing pollution, the Company has in place the following guidelines:

Set and periodically review sound environmental objectives and targets for each manufacturing unit Install, maintain and operate facilities to comply with all applicable environmental laws and other regulations pertaining to the Unit Conserve natural resources and energy by through consistently reducing consumption and wastage Promote farm forestry for sustainable availability of fibrous raw material Introduce cleaner and energy efficient processes in a phased manner Develop an ‘environmental conscious approach’ amongst all employees
